Meet the Peak Roofing & Construction Professionals
If you enjoy a good love story, we have one for you. Jeff Riss started Peak because he loved the roofing business and satisfying customers. Soon, he brought in the love of his life, his wife Joey, to help run the business. When it came to hiring people, he looked for honest people, who worked hard, and loved what they did. It’s the hearts of everyone on the team that make Peak Roofing & Construction different…better.
We proudly served North and Central Texas with offices in Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin. Choose below to meet our leadership teams.
Corporate / Dallas-Fort Worth Office
Jeff Riss
President
With 20 years of sales experience, a love of roofing, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Jeff started Peak Roofing & Construction. In 2018, the company expanded into additional exterior services and updated its name to Peak Roofing & Construction.
Jeff’s early experience in roofing showed him an opportunity to do it better. His passion for customer service, integrity, and quality craftsmanship fueled his desire to have a company that was family-owned, locally-operated, and focused on doing things the right way. Jeff’s quick to say the best compliments he gets are the referrals and opportunities to do more work for a family or business.
One thing you won’t see is Jeff camped out behind a desk, unless it’s raining. He’s typically at a job site. But be sure to look up. You’re likely to find him on a roof with his team checking on quality or providing advice on a complex install or repair. Or you might find him at another one of his favorite spots – a nearby baseball field watching his son play.
It’s Jeff’s endless energy, integrity, and deep roots in customer service that make Peak Roofing & Construction a great little company that delivers big results.
Read a personal note from Jeff.
Joey Riss
Vice President
When Jeff and Joey met in 1997, they had no idea they would start their own business. They moved to Frisco in 2001 when there was still more land than buildings. As they watched it grow, they knew it was the place they wanted to call home and become part of the community.
Before joining Jeff in business, Joey spent time in technology and retail sales. She also worked as a special education elementary school teacher, which expanded the love she already had towards children. Much of their community involvement and support is focused on organizations that help families and children.
Joey says she is blessed to have the best of both worlds. She has a career working together with her husband behind the scenes, doing final invoice preparation for customers, and overseeing much of the marketing efforts. And then she has her most important and rewarding job – spending precious time with their son, who they both adore.
If you get a chance to meet Joey, her energy and enthusiasm are contagious. From her smile and her spirit, you’ll see an extraordinary lady with a heart big enough to nurture her family and be instrumental in the business.
