Real Men Wear Pink at Peak Roofing & Construction
Imagine a room full of men (and their guests) sitting around talking about pink. You might think you stumbled into a “Metro Male” training class, but it’s something far more impactful than that. It was the Collin County kick-off of the Real Men Wear Pink breast cancer fundraising campaign sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
Last week, Jeff and myself along with three of our team members and their spouses were honored to attend the event that will hopefully spark a considerable amount of donations to such a worthwhile cause.
Our Peak family and extended family have been affected by this disease, including my dear grandmother who passed away in August. The good news is we also have reasons to be very thankful because of the early detection and treatment that has provided many blessings to us as well.
Doing our part
Donations
We encourage our team members and customers to help us raise money by donating through Jeff’s donation page at Real Men Wear Pink. Peak Roofing & Construction is doing a dollar-for-dollar donation match up to $5,000 for funds raised through this page.
Raising awareness
If we have the pleasure of doing roofing, exterior services, or working in your neighborhood, you will be able to see our Real Men Wear Pink yard signs and pink “P” hats. Our team will be working hard for our customers and cancer awareness throughout the month of October.

Joey Riss
Joey is Peak Roofing & Construction’s “renaissance woman”. She is involved in all aspects of the business decision making as well as her office responsibilities and overseeing much of the marketing efforts. Although she lets Jeff climb the roofs, Joey has a thorough understanding of roofing, gutters, windows, fences and exterior painting. When not in the office you will find her focused on her favorite career, raising their precious son.
